This is Lycoris! Orphaned and abused by his caretakers, he is saved by a demon. This warps his world view and he soon turns to vigilantism, preying on those who would prey on children or weakened people. While he thinks he's doing what's best for people, his worldview is skewed. Hypersexual from trauma, Lycoris masks a fragile and fearful person with confidence and playfulness.

This is Casey. The younger brother of Kaleb. Casey is paranoid and tense, fearing most people and covering that vulnerability with hostility. Obsessed with conspiracy theories, he hasn't quite yet caught onto the fact his brother and neighbor are serial killers on opposite sides of the morality spectrum. However he bonds with Lycoris and an intensely intimate relationship forms. They work together to help people while also bettering their situation.

This is Kaleb. Casey's older brother and legal guardian. While he appears pleasant and charismatic to most people who meet him, underneath that pleasant mask is a sick, abusive murderer. Harsh to his younger brother and having had taken advantage of Lycoris, he only plays respectful card games to those who have some sort of power over him. He manages to avoid being killed by Lycoris by hiding behind Casey, even threatening his younger brother's safety to keep Lycoris in line. But he won't be in control for long.

This is Chiyosen! An older woman who cares for Lycoris, but suspected something was up. She wants to get involved with the boy's lives and put them on the right path, but she knows she has to approach it at a careful angle.

This is Beau! A young boy who was in Lycoris's grade before he was homeschooled. Beau's compassion made him worry Lycoris was lonely. While trying to befriend him, he walks in on one of the murders Casey and Lycoris had committed. The two boys panicked and trapped Beau in the attic of the house. While they do treat him well and he's very much trapped in a guilded cage, Beau is terrified and doesn't understand anyone's situation. He plays to the better nature of his captors, knowing they're make the right choice. Right?
